Embedded Engineer expert

Job purpose:
Execute embedded software development for automotive products.
Responsibilities
  • Managing the function’s requirements including support to requirements engineering
  • Supporting the system architecture with design approaches for the defined functions
  • Arranging and attending meetings with all the involved parties to build the functionality especially through technical reviews
  • Translating the product functionalities into tasks for development through change requests for relevant CCBs
  • managing and prioritizing the function’s backlog and change requests
  • Leading the test readiness process
  • Managing reports on a weekly basis
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation efforts.
  • Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software development practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++, with experience in embedded software development.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, real-time operating systems, and low-level hardware interfaces and also experience with automotive microcontrollers and real-time operating systems such as OSEK.
  • Familiarity with automotive software standards such as AUTOSAR, CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
  • Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies, such as Git, JIRA, Agile/Scrum, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Good to have (not mandatory) Software development within/without Autosar framework following ISO26262 functional safety concepts
  • Knowledge of algorithms and software development.
  • Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies, such as Git, JIRA, Agile/Scrum, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) could be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
