Embedded Engineer expert

Execute embedded software development for automotive products.

Managing the function’s requirements including support to requirements engineering
Supporting the system architecture with design approaches for the defined functions
Arranging and attending meetings with all the involved parties to build the functionality especially through technical reviews
Translating the product functionalities into tasks for development through change requests for relevant CCBs
managing and prioritizing the function’s backlog and change requests
Leading the test readiness process
Managing reports on a weekly basis
Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation efforts.
Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software development practices.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in C/C++, with experience in embedded software development.
Experience with microcontrollers, real-time operating systems, and low-level hardware interfaces and also experience with automotive microcontrollers and real-time operating systems such as OSEK.
Familiarity with automotive software standards such as AUTOSAR, CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies, such as Git, JIRA, Agile/Scrum, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Good to have (not mandatory) Software development within/without Autosar framework following ISO26262 functional safety concepts
Knowledge of algorithms and software development.
Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies, such as Git, JIRA, Agile/Scrum, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) could be an added advantage.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
