Embedded Engineer Expert
Execute embedded software development for automotive products.
- Managing the function’s requirements including support to requirements engineering
- Supporting the system architecture with design approaches for the defined functions
- Arranging and attending meetings with all the involved parties to build the functionality especially through technical reviews
- Translating the product functionalities into tasks for development through change requests for relevant CCBs
- managing and prioritizing the function’s backlog and change requests
- Leading the test readiness process
- Managing reports on a weekly basis
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation efforts.
- Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software development practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, with experience in embedded software development.
- Experience with microcontrollers, real-time operating systems, and low-level hardware interfaces and also experience with automotive microcontrollers and real-time operating systems such as OSEK.
- Familiarity with automotive software standards such as AUTOSAR, CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
- Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies, such as Git, JIRA, Agile/Scrum, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Good to have (not mandatory) Software development within/without Autosar framework following ISO26262 functional safety concepts.
- Knowledge of algorithms and software development.
- Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies, such as Git, JIRA, Agile/Scrum, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) could be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
